2023/2024 – Fall Season / Winter Workouts

If your son is serious about baseball- this is where he needs to be! 
We invite you to join us for a tryout.
 

Selected players will be immediately eligible for off-season workouts, unlimited access to our indoor facility and full participation in our highly instructional winter-workout program!  This team will participate in Local and Regional Tournaments, and Weekly Practices.  Our teams compete at the highest level of travel baseball. Our teams train year-round at Fielder’s Choice in Purcellville, VA.

Location: Woodgrove Park, Evening Star Dr., Round Hill, VA

Date: June 10    Time: 10:00am   

Ages: 12U – Players may not turn 13 before May 1, 2024

 Cost: Free– Register Online—Walkups are Welcome

8U TRAVEL BASEBALL TRYOUT
FALL SEASON/WINTER PRACTICE 2023-2024

Thanks for making us a premier destination for some of the top players in the region since 2009!
 
Players may not turn 9 before MAY 1, 2024.

Selected players will participate in League Games on Sundays, Weekend Tournaments, and Weekday Practices.  Our teams compete at the highest level of travel baseball.

Founder of FCB and owner of Fielder’s Choice. Dan has 25+ yrs experience coaching all ages and levels of travel baseball.

Player’s that attend the tryout should dress like a baseball player and expect to participate in a workout that consists of running evaluations, INF/OF drills, catcher POP times, batting practice and pitcher bullpen sessions.

We are looking to add exceptional players to our program that perform at a high level on the field and in the classroom.  Any selected players can expect access to winter workouts at our indoor facility. Our teams compete at the local and regional level visiting some the of top venues in the country.

Monday Night SOFTBALL Hitting Clinics

Fielder’s Choice is proud to offer these Softball Hitting Clinics hosted by 

FC Softball’s Max Barnes.

This 4-week session will focus on the mechanics and fundamentals of the swing, while maximizing repetitions through hitting drills and front-toss to enforce muscle memory. Learn the art of hitting and build the confidence you need to take your game to the next level!

Space is limited to 12 players per session

MARCH GROUP I

CLINIC DIRECTOR:  MAX BARNES

Max was a six-time all-state athlete in high school, and first team all-met softball player her senior year. She led Woodgrove HS to three state softball championships. She was awarded the athlete of the year award in 2019 at WHS.
She played her freshman year of college softball at Divison I, USC Upstate and later at Syracuse University as a catcher/utility player.  Unfortunately, following her sophomore year an illness unexpectedly ended her playing career.
Max studied strength conditioning and biomechanics and has worked with DI baseball, softball and football teams.  She is a certified personal trainer and power-lifting coach. She also has coached gymnastics for the past six years.
