Fielder’s Choice Baseball and Softball Training was founded in 2009 to provide an unmatched teaching environment by professional instructors with unrivaled passion for the games. The Fielder’s Choice way is to provide outstanding customer service by our training and advisory staff which includes former collegiate and professional players, as well as experienced local coaches ready to assist athletes of all abilities in their pursuit of reaching their full potential.

Fielder’s Choice offers both individual and small group instruction packages for our players. Individual instruction packages can be used for hitting, pitching, catching, infield/outfield or overall skill development. Whether you’re looking for a quick tune-up or long-term training – FC has the facility and the instructors to take your player to the next level. Prepare. Perform

Coach Miles’ playing career includes a first team all-league selection at second base for Atholton High School in Columbia, MD. He then played two seasons as a pitcher for Catonsville Community College and went on to play at Frostburg State University for the 1991 and 1992 seasons when the Bobcats enjoyed a conference championship. He finished his career as the number two all-time saves leader for the Bobcats in just two seasons at FSU.

His nearly 30 years in coaching includes experience as coaching at almost every level of amateur baseball. He has managed and coached travel baseball from 8U-18U, Little League and LL All-Stars, 18+ NABF teams, and founded the Fielder’s Choice Baseball Club in 2009. Dan’s experience also includes serving as the Sports Program Director and teaching private 4th-6th grade in Oak Hill, VA.

Get off the bench and into the game!!  Fun activities for everyone!! The Fielder’s Choice After-School Club helps to promote a healthy lifestyle. Today’s experts recommend 60 minutes or more of physical activity daily.  Results show that physically active children are more likely to perform better in the classroom while creating healthy habits that can last through adulthood.

Not just for baseball and softball players!!

We offer safe and healthy ways to play even for children who don’t play an organized sport.  Our program includes daily, team and individual games and activities on the training floor, which get kids moving!  Our enthusiastic staff leads children through a series of multi-sport exercises that include baseball/softball, flag football, basketball games, kickball, volleyball and more!  We also play other standards such as tag and capture the flag and some of our favorite team-building games.

Homework, Snack, Crafts and Game-Room Time Daily
We offer academic and homework support, nutritional snacks, arts and crafts supplies and activities daily.  We also have a game room with ping-pong,  play station, board games, legoes and much more!! Schedule a Tour Today! Grades K-5 Transportation included from Kenneth Culbert E.S., Emerick E.S., Hamilton E.S., Mt.
