Campers enjoy 2 hours of daily diamond skills and drills to start each day. The basic fundamentals of throwing, catching, fielding and base running are covered throughout the week. After lunch, the day continues with fun activities on the training floor such as: wiffle ball, flag football, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, protect the pin games and much more! Campers also have access to the game room which includes ping pong, video games, board games and other fun activities.

Fridays include a trip to Franklin Park Pool in Purcellville!

Choose from three session for this camp specifically designed for players 4-6 years.  These 2 hour camps are a great introduction to the game with an emphasis on fun!

2017 Fastpitch Softball Camp

Our youth overall skills camps offer top quality instruction and game play that allow campers to put their new skills into action. Hitting, pitching, infield and outfield play as well as base-running will be covered throughout the week.

Camp Director: Carly Schmidt- Head Coach Loudoun Valley HS

Carly graduated from Heritage High School in 2010 where she played for Megan Smith.  She was a four year varsity player and received multiple All-District Awards.  She continued her career at Louisburg College where she was named to the All-Region team in 2011.  She then moved to Patrick Henry Community College in 2012 where she was the Player of the Year as well as named to the All-American team.  She led the conference with 63 hits, 52 RBIs, 14 homeruns and hit .504 on the season.  Carly finished her career at Shepherd University where she led the team in homeruns was an All-Region selection.  She is currently an assistant coach at Loudoun Valley High School.

Gear up for the Spring Softball Season with the help of the FC Staff! Softball players ages 8-12 are encouraged to enroll to receive top hitting instruction from FC Softball Hitting Instuctors Chris Erickson or Carly Schmidt. Sessions will focus on the mechanics and fundamentals of the softball swing, while maximizing repetitions through hitting drills and live pitching to enforce muscle memory. Learn the art of hitting and build the confidence you need to take your game to the next level. Hitting clinics will be capped at a maximum of 6 participants to guarantee indivualized attention. Refund Policy
Fielder’s Choice offers a full refund for cancellations made more than one week prior to the event.  Cancellations made less than one week prior to the start date will result in a credit toward any program at Fielder’s Choice. There are no make-ups, credits or refunds due to player absences or cancellations after the event begins. We will make every effort to reschedule, but cannot guarantee that weather related interruptions or closures will result in a make-up.              Fielder’s Choice reserves the right to cancel each event.
